Privacy policy

This site presents Cabana Jequitibá and lets you check availability for your dates. Here we explain plainly what data passes through the site, what it is for and how to exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Who is responsible

Cabana Jequitibá, a rental in Maria da Fé, Minas Gerais, Brazil, managed by host Tatiana, is responsible (controller) for the data processed through this site. Privacy contact: through the cabin's Airbnb page or on Instagram @cabanajequitiba.

2. What data passes through the site

• Availability request: name, check-in and checkout dates and number of guests you enter in the form.
• Technical access logs: like any website, the server automatically logs technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type).

Form data is not sent to our server or stored by the site. It stays in your browser and is only used to open the cabin's Airbnb listing with the dates and number of guests you chose. Your name never leaves your browser. A booking only happens if you complete it on Airbnb itself.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• Answering your request, confirming dates and arranging the booking: steps prior to a contract, at your request (LGPD art. 7, V).
• Technical logs: keeping the site secure and working (legitimate interest, art. 7, IX) and meeting legal obligations, such as those of Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (art. 7, II).

We do not sell data, we do not use your data for advertising and we do not send messages unless you start the conversation.

4. Third-party services

• Google Maps: the map in the Location section loads from Google when you reach it. Google may collect browsing data under its own privacy policy.
• Airbnb: checking dates takes you to the cabin's Airbnb listing, where the booking is made under Airbnb's privacy policy.

Photos, videos and fonts are served from our own server, with no third-party services.

5. Cookies

This site uses no cookies of its own and no analytics, tracking or advertising tools, so there is no cookie banner. Only the Google map, once loaded, may use Google's own cookies.

6. How long we keep data

The site does not keep form data. Conversations and bookings stay on Airbnb for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations. Technical access logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted, within the period required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may ask at any time for:

• confirmation that we process your data and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully;
• portability and information about who the data was shared with;
• deletion of data processed with your consent and withdrawal of that consent.

To exercise your rights, contact the host through the cabin's Airbnb page. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

8. Security

The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no login area or visitor database.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the latest version is always shown at the top of this page.
